PRIMAL FEAR: Brazilian Recap

November 20, 2005

Mat Sinner (bass) and Ralf Scheepers (vocals) of German power metal mainstays PRIMAL FEAR recently travelled to Brazil to take part in two star-studded concerts in Sao Paulo and one in Belo Horizonte. The shows also featured Bruce Dickinson (IRON MAIDEN),Roy Z. (producer for JUDAS PRIEST, HALFORD),Jeff Scott Soto (SOUL SIRKUS, ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) and Roland Grapow (MASTERPLAN),who all took part in the first live performance of the TRIBUZY album "Execution", on which the musicians had played.

The night's setlist contained "The Nature Of Evil" (SINNER, sung by Mat),"Absolution" (sung by Ralf),"Final Embrace" (PRIMAL FEAR) and the MAIDEN classic "Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter". Dickinson sang "Be Quick Or Be Dead", "The Evil That Men Do" and "Tears Of The Dragon". For some cover songs, the MAIDEN singer switched to the drums (!),while Ralf, Mat and Jeff Scott Soto shared the mike. The band then jammed on "Highway To Hell", "Black Night", "Tush" and "Smoke On The Water".

It was all captured on DVD.
